Time for a fresh start

After a rough couple of years (depression, divorce, etc), it’s time for a fresh start.

I’ve been wondering what I should do with the rest of my life… I’m good at photography and I love nature so… nature photography it is :-)… obvious I know. But it wasn’t that simple in my head.

To mark this new start, I wanted to share a few images from a juvenile white-bellied sea eagle that I photographed a while back (interestingly almost exactly 2 years ago).

I was out fishing with my son when I spotted a seal playing with a fish on the surface of the water. The eagle spotted it too and within a few moments was trying to steal the seal’s meal (I’m a poet, I know).

It was very cool to witness. And also exciting to have my camera with me and try to get some good shots. Shooting from a rocking boat is not easy. My Nikon and I did good, and I’m really happy with the images. A great memory of a special moment.

Thanks for your attention and see you in out there <3

Take care
